Do you want to know how our milk ends up in a vending machine

Hey,

Want to know what we do in the background to get your fresh milk into the vending machine.

Chris and I work together to get the milk ready for you to take home with you and your families.

Chris milks the cows most days. They are milked once a day, in the morning and they are all generally milked by 10 in the morning. This is why the milk is so creamy and we get a big chunk of cream in the bottle in the morning.

The milk from the cows goes into a big bulk tank. I then pump the milk from the bulk tank into our pasteurising room, straight into the pasteuriser.

In the container, we have a batch pasteuriser which heats the milk to 65C and holds it at that temperature for 30 mins. Then it cools it back down to 4C.

We test each milk batch before we put it into the vending machine to ensure it has been correctly pasteurised.

The milk is then pumped into the churn. Then we bring the churn into the vending machine ready for your milk/milkshakes.
