Hello,
If you are on social media then you may have already seen our faces. If you haven't then you may not have met us yet. We would like to introduce ourselves and tell you what our favourite milkshake flavour is.
We are a family run business just between Cricklade and Ashton Keynes in Wiltshire. The farm has been in Chris's family for hundreds of years so it is a really special place to him and to us.
Chris is working with the cows every day. He does try and get one day off a week but depending on the time of year it doesn't always happen. He is out milking, feeding, cleaning up after the cows, managing the fields and so much more. In his spare time he loves playing and watching rugby. Chris loves a raspberry milkshake.
Me aka Jen, I sort out all things vending machine. So I am cleaning, pasteurising the milk, stocking up, ordering (my best skill haha) and looking after the little ones. Two days a week I am work as a veterinary nurse so you may see me during a consultation and yes I am supposed to be there. My favourite milkshake is Creme Egg.
Our son Bryn. He is the older of our two children. He spends most of his time playing with tractors when he isn't at school. Acting out all the mishaps that happen on the farm like people driving into ditches. Bryn's favourite milkshake is Strawberry.
Freya the youngest. She is the feistiest of the family. She is strong willed and knows exactly what she wants. She will ask for a tray to be added to her high chair at every meal and we all know she will not want it on when it is attached. So we have to then take it off about 2 minutes later. She loves a nap in the tractors and talking to the cows. Freya's favourite milkshake is Chocolate.
We have the two fur babies, Hammy and Fi.
Hamish is a red and white border collie. He is super friendly but we try and keep him away from the shed, or your jeans will go from clean to brown pretty quickly. He spends a lot of the time out in the fields or the barns with the cows. There is a job he doesn't like which is the dirty water pump or measuring grass he will excuse him self and wait by the kitchen for Chris to finish.
Fifi is our cat. She is super friendly but only on her terms. She loves visiting you all at the shed and I think she has some of your cars recognised as she goes dashing outside to greet people. She loves being outside and hunting but she will snuggle up on Bryn's bed for a day time nap.
