The chooks are doing really well.

This year we have brought them a bigger coop.

The coop has been a life changer when moving them and only requires one person now. It is on wheels and can be moved around the field easier. Not going to lie it does take me a few attempts to rock it back and forth but I do move it by myself now.

We also have an automatic door to help us out with the late summer nights and preventing mr fox from getting to them. Which seems to be working well. I will keep my fingers and toes crossed as they are clever little things.

In the spring we hatched some chicks. Which was good fun. They are still in the garden at the moment as they are a little too small to join the rest of the chooks. In a couple of weeks they will join the gang.

A few weeks back we brought some more little ladies to join the gang which has been lovely. They are getting super friendly and come running over now to say hello.

So we are now getting more eggs into the vending machine. It is currently full at the moment with enough eggs to restock as well. If you are in need of some.

We are looking forward to hopefully getting some more ladies in the near future so we can have even more eggs availible.
