So we know a lot of companies use plastic bottles with there milk, but we feel it is important to use reusable glass bottles. Especially as milk tastes so good out of a cold glass bottle.
We care about the environment which is why we use recycle-able cups and lids in the shed. We farm in an organic and regenerative manor, and are concious of all the animals and plants on the farm.
Here are the 3 reasons we use glass bottles.
1 - Reusable
It is re usable and can be used as many times as you want. There is no end limit/date that you can use them for. Even if you have a few extra bottles people have adapted them to become nice vases for flowers or teraniums with live plants in.
2 - Taste
Glass is made from natural ingredients and prevents any transfer of flavours getting to the milk. It also preserves ingredients for longer in glass. That is why it last so much longer in our bottles.
3 - Sterile
Glass can be sterilised so it is nice and clean for when your milk goes into it. Which can be done at home in the oven or dishwasher. All of our bottles are sterilised before they arrive at the farm. As I said earlier glass is made from natural ingredients so there are no toxins or BPA added to them.
